The New Moon in Leo has arrived, and with it comes our moment to awaken courage in our hearts and stoke the fires of unconditional love. This New Moon is the top of a Yod (see below) that activates and deepens the powers of the sextile between Pluto in Capricorn and Neptune/Chiron in Pisces. Yods are great directors of our energy, so this year's Leo phase is full of fire and creativity. Venus in 3 Leo is moving toward the Sun, so the goddess inspires the flames of wisdom. Also, the New Moon conjuncts the lunar North Node in the USA's founding chart (1776), so this heart opening reveals deep implications for Americans. Many now realize that time acceleration is a real influence; things are going so fast that most people can't remember what happened last week. Well, this New Moon is the hot match that ignites the voracious field of constant change.


My reading for the July 1 Cancer New Moon was prophetic, so we must consider what happened under its influence since the July events will probably expand during August. The previous New Moon was the third of three eclipses that encapsulated the Summer Solstice. These eclipses really did their job, and reality has been rearranged in very shocking ways. The midpoint of the Universal Underworld (March 9 to October 28) was July 3-4, which coincided with the fall of a big demon-the media mogul Rupert Murdoch. Next, the midpoint of Night Four of the Universal (July 21-22) was besmirched by the hideous murders in Norway, a country known for its peace and order. Its capital, Oslo, is the final significant city at the northern end of the World Tree midline. The July 1 reading emphasized our need to clear the religious patterns of the National and Planetary Underworlds, since these word religions have been the cause of constant warfare. Behind the scenes, religion has been used as a device to divide and conquer people for 5,125 years. The midline runs through Tripoli to Rome and Oslo, so let's notice that Norway is very involved in the NATO attack on Libya. Generally speaking, as the outmoded industrial and political systems of these Underworlds transform, the religious beliefs that inspired these systems are loaded with contradictions. For example, ancient fears-from 5,125 years of East/West conflict-possess people as they struggle with today's multicultural lifestyles. People are burdened with guilt; they're poisoned with the belief that they are born as sinners and must obey God in order to be redeemed. Whole cultures are swamped in free-floating judgment amidst pornography and mayhem-call it the whirlwind. The elite bathes the people in smut and corruption, but the tide has turned when we see Rupert Murdoch-the great destroyer of true journalism and healthy entertainment-falling like a besotted monster from Sodom and Gomorrah.


The fall of this titan right at the high point of the Universal Underworld is a BIG deal; we may be witnessing the clearance of dark and destructive demonic forces. Even though the initial whistle blower, Sean Hoare, mysteriously died, Murdoch still got caught as a hacker-and the public cheered the wounding of the Babylonian mogul. The major themes that we observed at the beginning of the Universal Underworld-crises over nuclear power, Middle Eastern chaos, and global financial instability-are now spreading out into wider territory, creating consequences for individuals, corporations, and governments. Shocking weakness is now exposed in the ranks of the global elite controllers, as Murdoch was a major player in the campaign to dishearten and dumb down the public.


The tragedy in Oslo shines a revealing spotlight on the deadly contradictions that festered for years in this fanatic's sick mind. The "suspect", Anders Breivik, is a Christian fundamentalist who believed he needed to kill in the name of God to rid his country (Norway) of the infidel. Many recent killers, who are often possessed by the media, have taken hideous actions to claim their own moment of fame. This obsession with fame, violence, and fear-mongering media is what made Murdoch a billionaire. I focused on the fundamentalist control of culture in the July 1 reading because it is time to rescue our minds from this 4D pit.


So far, my analysis of the processes we are transmuting during the Universal (since March 9) seems to be on target, and now it is branching out all over the place because we've climbed to the top of the pyramid. And, the Day Five budding phase comes soon. The core fallacy behind Murdoch's empire and the Oslo murders is the human belief that God gave Abraham the right to use the Earth and to even destroy nature. Murdoch's fall and the Oslo terror during the highpoint of the Universal expose the dangers of religious arrogance. Our deepest beliefs formulate our world, and these events demand that we exorcise the fundamentalist mindset. The outmoded mindset is the problem, not the good hearts of the people. Ideas have force, so it is time for all of us to see that guys like Breivik are more than just isolated weirdos; an increasing number of people are possessed and directed by 4D religious fanaticism. They will multiply unless sane people take back 3D and 4D. We must distance ourselves from this madness by clarifying our personal beliefs. Are you hooked into the West's crusades against the East that keep the West stuck in constant warfare and causes fanatics to kill for God? Are you waiting for the Messiah to return? Do you believe God will save you above all else? Are you waiting for the apocalypse and/or Planet X? Unclear and irrational free-floating thoughts keep most people from living effectively in the physical world, since their minds are plugged into the conquest agendas of the last 5,125 years.


The solution to being possessed by 4D ideas seems to be coming forth during the high point of the Universal Underworld. We have to end the rape of Earth by nuclear power, corrupted entertainment, and the diversion of our resources to warfare. Lately, the media is obscene when it showcases starving people in Africa while not critiquing military expenditures. Once weapons are manufactured, people will use them, such as the Oslo bomber and the idiot who shot Congresswoman Giffords, both using Glocks. I do hope Norway will begin-and lead-a campaign against arming every person on Earth, in the same way they award the Nobel Peace Prize and have taken on the preservation of Earth's precious seeds!


Day Five opens July 31, one day after this New Moon, when the new world we're creating will be in its budding phase. Day Five of the National was 40-434 AD, when Roman Christianity was adopted in the West. Therefore, radical shifts in Christianity are very likely in August, such as the exposure of Josef Ratzinger's lack of concern about child abuse in the Church. [See The Pope's War by Matthew Fox.] Day Five is when the new creations become visible, so this Leo lunation may be the most influential one during the Universal Underworld. Let's also note that Night Five opens August 18, a few days after the August 13 Full Moon in Aquarius, during this lunation cycle. Night Five is when we see the greatest destruction of the old systems that have to go, and the Aquarius Full Moon is equipped to do so. It forms a mutable grand square with Mars in 7 Cancer closely opposing Pluto in 5 Capricorn; and both are squared by Uranus in 4 Aries opposing the asteroid Juno in 5 Libra. (Saturn in 13 Libra is a partial influence in this grand square as well.) Events triggered by this potent configuration will force the world to see that the nuclear, financial, and Middle Eastern abuses are destroying our planet. Of course, famine and climate stress are also building. What do you expect when the planet is used for human disposal because supposedly God told our ancestors to use Earth for the chosen ones?


Now, let's turn to the reading for the Leo New Moon. I'm looking for ways we can awaken our courage (Leo), so as to change our world and find enlightenment for each person. As I mentioned earlier, this chart has a powerful aspect, a Yod; and Yods offer great fortune, especially when aspected to a New Moon. A Yod forms when a planet is located opposite the midpoint of a sextile between two or more planets. In this case, the Sun/Moon in 7 Leo is the top of the Yod to Pluto sextiling Neptune/Chiron. Pluto is also in a tight square to Uranus, while Neptune and Chiron are traveling together in the sky and will be sextiling Pluto from time to time. Thus, Uranus in Aries is activating Pluto in Capricorn while it transforms planetary structures from 2008 to 2024 (following 2008's financial crisis); and Neptune/Chiron in Pisces are healing and spiritualizing the Plutonian transformative process. Great changes are actually occurring, but they are so stressful that people can barely stand to think about them-such as the stress over the American financial crisis. This healing sextile activates the Yod point of the New Moon in Leo, so the healing of the heart is the focus. This is great because we all need courage right now. Venus approaching the New Moon adds the powers of the goddess to this agenda.


Mercury in early Virgo is a big player this month. The chart is cast for Washington, DC, home of the current world empire, and Mercury is right on the mid-heaven. Mercury exactly opposes Neptune (and closely opposes Chiron); trines Pluto; and is quincunxed by Uranus. This means we will be visionary (Mercury opposite Neptune) about the huge transformations (Pluto), while extreme change (Uranus) will push and push. But Mercury's action is much more intense than that, and the dynamic suggests the financial crisis is deepening. Mercury will exactly oppose Neptune late on July 28 (after this reading gets posted) and will turn retrograde on August 2 (when the US may begin to default); then Mercury opposes Neptune a second time on August 8. Mercury gets back to a third opposition to Neptune on September 8. This suggests the US will be struggling with either a default or a downgrade on its debt rating during this period; the negative elements of Mercury opposite Neptune are fantasies and illusions about resources.


This Mercury retrograde pattern really catches my eye, and I think there's a message in it: As soon as Night Five opens August 18, and possibly during the Full Moon at the end of Day Five, the financial wizards will run out of rabbits to pull out of their banking hats, while the people get jangled by shocks. The New Moon is on the 1776 USA North Node, so the focus of the world collapse will be the US, not Europe. Aspects to Mercury from Pluto, Neptune/Chiron, and Uranus will help us turn to spiritual matters and seek love in our families, the only real solution for money problems. These aspects indicate we will be highly susceptible to mystical breakthroughs, as well as very good at trusting our spiritual guidance during August. There are to be seven exact squares between Uranus and Pluto during 2012 through 2015, the period when the world will create new ways of life for a viable future. This square is very close during July/August 2011 amidst the high rate of change during the Universal Underworld. Time acceleration will build through October 28, 2011 (when our world will experience the imposition of a new fractal and holographic field), and then the structural adjustments will be continual through 2015. We are transmuting our minds in a hot alchemical furnace as Neptune and Chiron soften Pluto and spiritualize this difficult process. Mars in 28 Gemini is right on the point opposite the Galactic Center (GC), where Venus was located during the previous New Moon. (In the July 1 reading I made an error and said it was on the GC, not opposite). So, Venus opposite the GC opened our consciousness to cosmic realms during the previous lunation, and now Mars activates this point. Mars (which also sextiles the New Moon) guards the visual pathway out of our Galaxy.


Saturn in Libra is in a wide opposition to Uranus in Aries, and the influence is moving off. However, Saturn in 12 Libra quincunxes Jupiter in 9 Taurus while Jupiter trines Pluto, which is a stabilizing factor during this New Moon. Jupiter in Taurus is grounded and creates good future, which helps us during this unstable phase. And, the trine from Pluto (exact July 7) aids the transformation of structures. For example, this trine is causing the financial wizards to be more aware of the destruction they may cause, so they are cautious and respectful for a change. The quincunx from Saturn in Libra approaching its third and last hit of the USA's eighth Saturn Return (exact August 28) causes Americans to get real about wanting to be the last empire. The exact Jupiter/Saturn quincunx does not occur until May 2012, because Jupiter retrogrades back to early Taurus starting in late August. This Jupiter retrograde period (August 30 to December 25, 2011) will occur during the most intense financial jitters, so the structural changes are going to be deep. The best thing the Roman Empire used to do was declare a Jubilee every fifty years, when all debt was forgiven. Maybe this is what the whole world needs now? Thank the goddess Jupiter is in Taurus until June 2012! Regarding personal finance, Jupiter in Taurus says take care of your essential needs first, since choice will be very limited for most during the great restructuring of our world.


Day Five (July 31-August 17) begins one day after this New Moon and will be an exciting life-changing time; there is no doubt it will be overwhelmingly stressful. The Full Moon on August 13 will add astrological fuel to radical transformations. If at all possible, be as calm and receptive as possible, so that you can receive the spiritual directions coming to Earth during Day Five. Be present, and nurture the strength of courage in your hearts through unconditional love; only you can do it.
